I Like Me Better

“To be young and in love in New York City…” are the first lines of this viral song that was released in 2017.  This song was inspired by Lauv’s move to New York CIty and falling in love shortly.  The sound was Lauv’s voice which he recorded on his phone. It is Lauv’s top song which everyone knows him by, even appearing in trendy movies like “To All the Boys I Have Loved”. This Lauv song is guaranteed a top pick for your next karaoke night out!

Paris in the Rain

Paris in the Rain is one of Lauv’s tracks in his album I met you when I was 18. When we think of Paris we think of the iconic Eiffel tower with possible thoughts of beautiful engagements happening every 30 minutes. This catchy, romantic song really transports the listener to the lovey dovey city of Paris. This song exposes our most vulnerable state-being madly, uncontrollably in love against the backdrop of a picturesque city.  When I hear this music I can’t help but be nostalgic of first falling in love while listening to the raindrops falling.

I’m so Tired (with Troye Sivan)

Collaborating with Australian singer Troye SIvan, this song was released in 2019 and was later featured in Lauv’s debut album, How I’m Feeling. This song delves into the exhaustion of unrequited love which we all can relate to.  Click here for the lyrics that you can sing along!

Make It Right (with BTS)

If you love korean pop and you are also a Lauv fan, this is the best collaboration between BTS and Lauv.  BTS is a viral korean boy band with amazing hits loved by fans globally.  The chorus is super catchy with both Lauv and BTS singing together “All to make it right”.  This song is a powerful and catchy pop track that showcases the talents of both BTS and Lauv.

F*ck, I’m Lonely (with Anne Marie)

Fk, I’m lonely by Lauv and featuring British artist Anne-Marie is an emotionally captivating music that explores the loneliness aspect of moder-day relationships. This duet with Anne Marie is one of our favorite songs to karaoke to at a  party. The song features a catchy melody, upbeat tempo and a well ranged tone which takes off the pressure of straining our voice.

Mean It (with LANY)

This song may not be the most well known Lauv karaoke song, however this is one of my favorite Lauv song that made me fall in love with his music. This song has a special place in my heart as I listened to this while undergoing long distance with my current boyfriend, Michael, who resided in Louisiana at that time.  I always choose this song to sing at my karaoke party.
