We were invited to view a band show this weekend in Pennsylvania and all the songs that actually roused the crowd were punk rock hits. Bowling for Soup is a rock band originated from Texas who released this viral hit in 2004. The band mentions U2 and Blondie as the song depicts the main character who is reminiscing and stuck in 1985.  Surely millennials now understands this feeling as we are heading towards 30s and 40s where all the hits we loved are considered “oldies” to the newer generation.

Green Day is one of the most popular punk rock band who released hit after hit including Wake me up when September Ends and Basket Case.  I remember turning on MTV before going to school and would see Green Day’s main lead, Billie Joe Armstrong’s spiky hair jamming to American Idiot.
